BIG APPLE CIRCUS IN TOWNJune 14, 2011, 12:08 pm
If the Big Apple Circus were to decide to spend 4-6 weeks on the cape: 1. Would you bring your kids to see the show? 2. Would you rather go to the show at Governement Center in Boston?

Re: Wedding Ring Found on Hyannis BeachJanuary 3, 2011, 11:45 pm
Writing to see if anyone posted on Craigslist that they found a wedding ring 5 years ago on Hyannis Beach with the inscription Nov 1976. I am pretty sure this is my brother's wedding ring that he lost quite a few years ago. I am hoping to find out who posted this entry this past November which has now ended. If anyone knows who it may be please contact me either way it would be nice to know if this mystery ring is his? Thanks. Maryellen

Hi We're planning on coming to Cape Cod for part of our honeymoon next year. We're very early 30s and want somewhere we can relax but with lots of things to see if we want? Have always wanted to visit Cape Cod and esp go to Martha's Vineyard but any help as to the best place to stay would be gratefully appreciated by the people who know best? I really look forward to hearing from you Thank you in anticipation? xxx

Many years ago when I lived on the Cape we used to go to the Mall and there was a very talented artist there. She would paint mostly children on canvas using nothing but her fingers. I can remember we watched her for hours. Does anyone remember her - would love her biography and to see her paintings again. Hope someone out there remembers her. Thank you Janet

RE: Viva Storyland!February 28, 2009, 9:13 pm
Incidently, my mother, the late Mary McDonald (RIP) of Dorchester, passed on November 25th of 2007 from Cancer of the pancreas. Less than two months after her 64th birthday and she is sorely missed. Eerily, one of my fondest memories of my late grandmother (RIP) who died from breast cancer in 1966 was visiting the Worlds Fair with her in 1965. She was only in her mid forties at her passing. Myself and my three children now reside on the Cape in Bourne.

RE: StorylandFebruary 28, 2009, 8:51 pm
Wow I am so amazed to hear that Storyland has been around that long. I have three and five year old girls and before their grandmother passed away in Nov. 2007 she made certain she shared the Storyland experience with them. She accompanied them about the park, oxygen tank in tow and in a wheelchair but was ecstatic to see the looks on their faces as they explored the park. We had come to MA from GA to spend her last days with her; this and the other trips she shared, left her memory indelibly marked in their hearts. My then 3 year old exclaimed after her passing "every time I blink my eyes I'm gonna think about my Nanna" Viva Storyland!
